Please note that the following new rules will be applied as of the 1st of June 2024 for Ethiopian nationals requesting a short-term Schengen visa:
- Visa applications must be accompanied by all documents required for the purpose of stay, missing documents will result in a refusal.
2. The standard processing time will be 45 days, kindly submit the visa application accordingly. Visas can only be granted after 45 days from submission of the application, a travel date sooner than 45 days after submission will result in refusal.
3. Only single-entry visas can be granted. Multiple-entry visas cannot be issued.
4. Diplomat and service passport holders are no longer exempted from the payment of the visa fee.
The regulations mentioned above are in force till further notice.
