At the invitation of the Ethiopian Government, a high-level officials’ meeting on the implementation of the Valletta Action Plan was held in Addis Ababa, on 15. and 16 of November, 2018. The event was attended by representatives of the member countries of the European Union and the African Union, as well as representatives of the European External Service and the relevant UN institutions. The participants reviewed the implementation of the recommendations made by the 2015 Migration Summit held in La Valletta, Malta. The Hungarian delegation was headed by dr. Ferenc Dancs, Deputy Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, who confirmed the principles and aspirations of the Hungarian government's migration policy in his speech. The meeting adopted unanimously the Joint Conclusions that highlights the main tasks of the next period.
